Where do your profits go from my purchase?
We keep the prices so low that we 'profit' anywhere from $0.30 to $2.00 on an order. This 'profit' is used to purchase supplies: shipping envelopes, printer ink, paper, packaging material, etc. Beyond these expenses, we use the 'profit' to help fund more designs and purchase more items for the store. Our goal is to donate once a year to a non-profit for gastroparesis awareness and/or research.
How long does it take you to ship my order?
Typically we see the order the day that you place it. Then we start working on it right away. 95% of the time your order will be in the mail the next business day! The other 5% of the time, it can take up to 3 business days and that is simply due to weather and health issues. The store is run and managed by an individual with gastroparesis.
I need to make a change my order. What do I do?
Since we are so efficient with preparing your order once it is placed, often times it is already on it's way to the Post Office that day or the next; so changes can't be made. If, you send us an email within a few hours of your order, hopefully we will be able to accommodate you. When your email is received we respond right away with an answer.
Can I choose my shipping method or carrier?
Most items are shipped via First Class mail with the USPS. If we are able to upgrade your order to Priority Mail (based on the amount you paid for shipping) we will certainly do so. Otherwise, if you want Priority Mail, there is a drop down box on each item's page. Just add one (1) "Priority Mail" to your purchase.
Our system is set up to ship with USPS only, so we can't make a change to the carrier at this time.
How will I know you received my order?
An automatic response is sent when orders are received.
How can I find out when my order will be sent?
We send an e-mail to you as soon as the order is on it's way to the Post Office. For safety we drop off your order inside the Post Office. Our email will have a list of contact information in case you have any questions or concerns.
Can I track my order?
Even if we send your order via USPS First Class mail, we will have a limited tracking number for you. What does this mean? The company we do our postage from gives us a tracking number for any class of mail. However, it is limited in the fact that normally it will not show you the progress of your order every night (like Priority Mail). But it will show you when the package is dropped off at the Post Office (typically the next business night) and when the order is out for delivery. You can watch the status of your order at www.USPS.com. In the e-mail we send you, we will provide you with the tracking number!
What if I'm not satisfied? Can I get a refund?
On custom orders, we can not offer a refund. This is due to the fact that we had the item made just for you. Regarding custom orders, we will be in contact with you every step of the way. Pictures and detailed information will be sent to you, for your approval before we order/make the custom order for you. So you will have plenty of opportunities to make changes.
All other orders we will ask that you let us know what the problem is and we will see how we can made it better for you. This may include: we send you another item at no cost to you, we ask that you return it to us, or we will give you a refund. It just depends on the situation and what is best for all parties.
I want to place a large order. Can I get a discount?
Yes! Depending on the amount you want, we will be happy to give you a discount accordingly. On large orders, we may not have enough on hand, so we will advise you accordingly how long it will take to meet your request. The delay could be between 2 weeks. It really just depends on the product.
